What is the idea behind the blog or San-Jose.cr? –Pretty much everything that is great about blog writing and nothing of the “seriousness” that usually fills up the editorial pages of tourist sites.
For starters –and in case the sentiment hasn’t permeated across the minds of our beloved readers- San-Jose.cr touches all that is intrinsically relative to our hometown and all the other matters that fly in the collective imagination of residents and visitors. Truth, sarcasm, hilarity, reality, beauty and ugliness; standardized thinking is accepted, thou’ I am sure; If you’ve been driven to our site and managed to stay there… you’re one of us.
Evidently, English is our primary communication platform and this was not intended to alienate the local language nor the local culture; yet, the global and reasonable approach of the anglo-tongue could more easily reach a broader audience, a vast compound of reader backgrounds which truthfully –we felt- could provide for greater feedback.
A combination of news articles and editorial/critical work should be the permanent content of our blog –intended to update as often as I am not busy with my down to earth and painfully repetitive chores- wishing always to satisfy the curiosity of our ever judicious readers. We’re here to stay, so we hope you do as well, and obviously ENJOY YOURSELVES.
